The Analytical Laboratory of the Sri Lanka Tea Board serves as a cornerstone in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of Ceylon Tea across global markets. Established as an integral part of the Tea Board's quality assurance framework, our state-of-the-art facility conducts comprehensive chemical and microbiological analyses of tea samples from both domestic production and export consignments. The laboratory's commitment to excellence is reflected in its ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation, which it has maintained since 2013, positioning it as a trusted authority in tea quality assessment within the international tea trade
