National Instrument Database (NID) Networking Session

The session will provide an excellent opportunity to network with fellow NID stakeholders, discuss progress and challenges, share experiences and best practices. In addition to the networking activities, participants will be updated on the introduction of a new Instrument Care module to the NID, which aims at developing a database of technical experts with expertise in the repair, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of scientific instruments.

The discussion will also provide an opportunity to gather stakeholder feedback on the new module and explore ways to enhance instrument availability, reduce equipment downtime, and strengthen institutional support for scientific research without a hamper. Participants are encouraged to share their observations and suggestions on improving data quality, increasing institutional participation, and ensuring the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of the NID as a national resource for research and innovation.
